Malden Young Strings has been very successful for many years in training young children in string instruments.
There are now vacancies for young children to take part in a pre-instrumental class prior to learning violin, viola or cello.

Malden Young Strings provides individual and group tuition for beginners up to Grade 8+ on violin, viola and cello. Members attend twice weekly during term time (38 weeks per year) for a 30 minute individual lesson and a 60 minute group lesson. Pupils of any teacher may attend group lesson only. There are currently eight groups serving all levels of attainment.
Young children can attend a weekly pre-instrumental class. The training of the inner ear (rhytm and pitch) is a fundamental aspect of the tuition.
