Pennan Holiday Let – Rockpool Cottage
Pennan Village is situated in north eastern Scotland about an hour’s drive north of Aberdeen. It is one of the country’s prettiest fishing villages, located on the beautiful Morayshire Coast, which enjoys its own ‘micro-climate’. Nestling at the base of dramatic cliffs, there are a number of quaint cottages, all ‘listed’ within a conservation area and situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

In addition, Pennan’s claim to fame is its association with the film “Local Hero” starring Burt Lancaster, filmed on location in the village in the 1980s. The iconic red telephone box remains as does the beautiful Pennan Inn, where excellent food is available in the bar or restaurant.
