In 1981, Derek Woolls, having worked in the tyre industry since 1957, decided to start his own business…That’s when Tyreshops was born.
With the help of his wife Judy, other family members and many dedicated staff along the way, Derek managed to build a large customer base locally, always doing everything in his power to ensure the customer was put first.
Sadly, both Derek & Judy have passed away in recent years, but the business continues to flourish. Our staff always strive to please every customer, whether new or longstanding. Our range of services has expanded recently and we carry out MOT testing, repairs and servicing on the majority of cars and light commercial vehicles as well as supplying and fitting tyres and exhausts, which of course is where it all began back in 1981.
