My name is Leony Goodwin and I have been working as a reflexologist in Oxted and the surrounding areas since 2010. Prior to working as a reflexologist, I worked as a General Nurse, Midwife and an Operating Theatre Nurse for 20 years in South Africa and London.

Having been a full time mother and housewife since 2000, I decided to retrain in Complimentary Therapies with a particular interest in Reflexology. I qualified as a Reflexologist in 2010 from the London School of Reflexology (Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology) as well as Maternity reflexologist with distinstion (Suzanne Enzer). Since qualifying I also studied spinal reflexology; preconception, pregnancy and postnatal care; Indian Head Massage; and Moxibustion (Turning of a Breech baby) as part of my continual professional development.

I’m passionate about complimentary therapies and the benefits of a Holistic approach to health. As a therapist the rewards from my work are great, acknowledging people as individuals and seeing the positive changes as clients work towards improved health and well-being. I decided to follow my interest in the field of complementary therapy after experiencing the benefits of different treatments for my family, particularly in relation to helping asthma in children, muscle fatigue in sport related issues, circulation problems and childbirth.
After experiencing all the benefits of reflexology in pregnancy I am keen to help other mothers achieve the same amazing feeling of health and relaxation during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. To enhance this support I have recently completed a Doula course with Nurturing Birth (accredited by Doula UK) as a Birth and postnatal doula.

I have an up-to-date First Aid Certificate, full public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), Professional Reflexology (PR), Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Maternity Reflexology Consortium. My professional experience is invaluable in supporting my reflexology practice.
