John Fishleigh (Senior) established Fishleigh and Son, as an agricultural dealer back in the early 1980’s.
John worked and lived on his farm all of his life, he started as a sheep farmer, but had always had an passion for farm implements and tractors.
He slowly changed from sheep farming to building a successful family business dealing with the sales of tractors, all types of farm equipment and machinery.
John built up the reputation of the business across the country by attending farm sales and auctions, advertising in appropriate magazines, newspapers and through word of mouth.
Unfortunately, John passed away when he was only 64yrs old and the business was then carried forward by his wife Pat Fishleigh until their youngest Son was old enough to join the business.
Pat Fishleigh developed the sales of a range of Chain Harrows, which were reasonably priced and appealed to both the small holder and major farmers.
Since 2010 John Fishleigh (Junior) has become a working partner within the business and has recently manufactured implements, thus to keep the good work and reputation that his Father had built up, with the support of his Mother and team.
