Day Nursery
Alpha day nursery has facilities to cater for children age 6months –5years old . Children at this stage of development learn essentially through play, and are at all times absorbing an enormous amount from what they see, hear and do.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our underlying philosophy is based on the fact that a child benefits from being introduced at an early age to an environment that is rich and varied, giving them the confidence to explore and learn in a friendly, warm, safe and secure environment which helps children to develop in individual ways and varying rates encouraging individuals to appreciate their own abilities which in turn gives them the confidence to progress. We aim to develop your child to their full potential in accordance with their interest and capabilities in line with the EYFS themes and commitments.
We help develop their sense of independence, and ability to think and take decisions for themselves and be responsible for their actions. To promote equality in conjunction with the Nursery policy on equal opportunity, catering for each child’s need in a multicultural society.
To promote emotional stability, cognitive development, social awareness and self confidence in each child, working as partners with parents and Keyperson in a secure and stimulating environment.
