Welcome to the Balmacara Lodge bed and breakfast…
A warm homely welcome awaits you by your hosts Angela and Tony.
Balmacara Lodge is situated in the lovely tiny hamlet of Balmacara Square, which is an ideal base for visiting many local attractions including Eilean Donan Castle , Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge . Tony having worked all his life on the railway will be only to happy to advise you.
On arrival at Balmacara Lodge tea and coffee will be served with home baked cakes to help you unwind after your journey. If it is cold and damp you may prefer a bowl of home made soup served with home made bread.

Why not take a train journey on one of the most famous railway journeys in the world from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh taking in some spectacular scenery.

Visit the Isle of Skye or take a scenic journey to Loch Carron and to Applecross.

There is plenty for everyone including water sports, walking, fishing, golf, wildlife and gardens. For more information Angela a Chartered Librarian and dog trainer is only too willing to help make your holiday very enjoyable and special. There are many local walks with stunning views.
