Technological Advances
Since the introduction of halide and T5 lighting, coral keeping has been made possible with much greater success. Now is the time for the next step forward, Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) have been adapted for use with aquariums. They consume much less power and have a much greater lifespan than the, now out-dated, T5 and halide lighting systems. They also have the added benefit of allowing greater control over the intensity of the light produced.

Our LED Aquarium Lighting
We can supply high-powered LED Aquarium lighting for any tank up to ten feet in length. Odd shaped tanks are not a problem as the light can be mounted on the aquarium. It can be hung as a luminaire or, because of the low heat output, even in the hood (providing it allows 6–8 inches (18–24 inch tanks) between the face of the light and the surface of the water, allowing it to spread over the whole width of the tank).

We will even tailor LEDs to suit your own particular needs. We have spent 3 years developing our product by testing on our own corals (and not by theory), so we have a pretty good idea as to what works and what doesn’t.
